One of the reasons for the level of popularity it enjoys is the ease with which it is accessible. There are plenty of things that you can do with this version of QuickBooks, such as printing checks, designing and maintaining the company payroll, controlling your inventory, managing the company bills, budgeting for the next fiscal year, and invoicing & managing accounts. These are just some of the main features that are highlighted to attract customers that might be thinking about possible alternatives for their business solutions. The great thing about QuickBooks 2012 is that it covers all the major aspects in single software, which simply keeps away redundancies and the need to operate multiple software. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. I’m so confident that Quickbooks 2012 will solve your problem that I’m offering a “No-Questions-Asked” 100% Money Back Guarantee. All I ask is you try out Quickbooks 2012 for 30 days.
Furthermore, QuickBooks can be used to bypass all the intricate and complicated statements and calculations required to get a snapshot of the health of your finances. The accuracy of these financials is usually very high because all of your important financial information is accessible in a single interface. Most of the problems in the accuracy of the overall financial situation are a result of a number of different software holding important information, instead of just one. Having to compile information from different sources instantly increases the risk of errors in financial calculations. Moreover, users can easily generate all the reports that one can think of and maybe even some that you know idea about. The ability to customize the software specifically to your organization’s needs, especially the industry, is a real luxury. Most software solution providers can charge tens of thousands of dollars to develop customized business software, but with QuickBooks 2012, all you need is a manual guide.
Statistics show that over 90% of all small businesses use QuickBooks, even though there are a couple of great rivaling software. One of the reasons for this is that most accountants at one point or another have used or specialized in this software, which simply shows how popular and widespread it has become. Instead of having to hire and train individuals in other business software, employers prefer to take the easy way out with something that will control costs and is easier to use. Moreover, the level of support that is available to even the most experienced user of QuickBooks is unmatchable by any other software. As I just mentioned, QuickBooks is the ideal software for small and medium businesses, but might not be complex enough to handle larger firms, simply because of the workload and heavy transactions, which is actually the only real knock on this software.
QuickBooks 2012 is available in 5 different versions, each targeting a different type of user. Below is a brief look into and comparison of the different versions.
- Online Simple Start: This is the most basic version of the software and only costs around $13 a month. It allows for only one user and has a 30-day free trial. It consists of the most basic managerial features, such as online access, check printing and invoice creation. And there are about 20 reports that are at the users disposal.
- Online Essentials: This costs about $24.95 a month and is similar to the first version in most ways. However, this version allows 3 users to have complete access to the software at one time and the level of access can be defined for each one. It also has a 30-day free trial. The number of reports doubles to 40 with this version, but the managerial features are more or less the same.
- Online Plus: This online version is the closest to the actual desktop version of QuickBooks 2012. However, the biggest advantage of this over all other versions is the 5 users who can access the software at one time. The managerial features range from online access to check printing, inventory tracking and tax form printing. There are over 65 different reports accessible by the use, but costs about $40 a month.
- Desktop Pro: This version has a onetime payment of $185 and is considered to be one of the two most complete versions of the software. However, unlike the previous versions discussed, this one does not have free customer support or online access. In reality, you have to pay $150 for the customer support and almost $10 a month for online access. This is actually very costly as compared to the other versions and only allows one user access to the software. However, on the bright side it has the full managerial features and over 100 different reports at your disposal.
- Desktop Premier: This version has the similar setbacks associated with the Desktop Pro version, but also outshines it. It costs about $320 to buy the software and $150 & $10 for customer support and online access. Other than that, it has 150 different financial reports and full managerial features.

“Simple and comprehensive“
This is the best edition yet – the new integrated Help feature alone is worth more than the price of the product. Search your company records for an invoice or search QuickBooks support and user forums from the corner of the screen. No more endless paging through invoice after invoice to find the right one among hundreds to the same customer. No more going to Google for information – it’s available simply and effectively right on the QuickBooks screen. It’s great!

“What’s Not to Love about QuickBooks 2012“
There are so many new features in 2012 that it’s hard to pick just one to write about. From the To Do Notes that are actually connected to the customer, vendor or employee to the calendar of transactions. There are several new features at the top of my list 1) the new Excel Intregation so that you don’t have to keep making the same changes every time you send a report to Excel and need the same formula – this one alone will saves hours. The ability to enter in one timecard for multiple employee’s/vendors working on the same job doing the same task. It won’t affect everyone, but for those that use timecards this is huge. Being able to track not only Leads (prospects before they become customers), but also to be able to track multiple contacts for each customer and select which information you want to track for each contact is a hugh first step towards having a built in CRM.
There weren’t big new functions added, but the smaller improvements will definitely make life within QuickBooks easier, faster and give greater flexibilty.

“Great for Small Business“
I have been recommending QuickBooks to clients for years. It is easy to use and users have benefitted from the addition of new features each year as the product has become more and more robust.
There are several new features in QuickBooks 2012. Depending on how QuickBooks users work and which parts of the program they use, each person will have a different favorite. Two of the features I see affecting the most people are the new To Do Notes and the new Doc Center.
The To Do Notes have been improved so that there are a variety of types, Task, Phone Call, Email … . It is also possible to set deadlines, sort, attach to a name list entry like a Customer or Vendor.
It has been possible to save documents electronically with QuickBooks for a couple of years. In 2011 the feature was available for an extra fee and included an online option for saving documents. For 2012, it no longer costs extra and the documents are electronically saved locally, not to an online server. This is really a great feature. More QuickBooks users should be using it.

“QB 2012 a great product“
This well known software keeps getting better and better each year. The manufacturer does keep up with the program and enhances it every year. Some of the new great features are a calendar mode to help you remeber what needs to be done each day with your accounting. And with the idea of going paperless..you can store yuor documents right on your computer for easy viewing when needed. And if you use invoicing.. you can now do a credit memo right on the invoicing screen. You can create credit memo’s from the original invoice… what a treat for when you do receive a return.
Are you looking for a contact manager program… no need to now as a lead center is now incorporated into the software. It’s is well worth the investment and I highly recommend it.
